The Department of ‘Organization Engineering, Business Administration and Statistics’ is the result of a combined effort of a group of university professors with a common mission: to contribute collectively with their knowledge, experience and skills to the business system and to foster a mutually productive rapprochement between businesses and university.
It is a joint Department with more than 80 professors distributed in various Schools of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid:
- Higher Technical School of Aeronautics and Space Engineering
- Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering
- Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering
- Higher Technical School of Computer Systems Engineering
- Higher Technical School of Industrial Design and Engineering
- Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Systems Engineering
- Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering
The Department is responsible for organizing teaching in various Bachelor's Degrees, University Master Programs, and PhD Programs, in addition to UPM’s own Degrees. Such teaching activities are complemented by the development of various research lines which result in the implementation of a wide range of research projects and partnerships with businesses and other institutions.
Administrative procedures are centralized in the Department offices which are located in ETSI Industriales (HTS Industrial Engineering).
