Dr Ebru Susur currently works as Assistant Professor in Innovation Studies. Dr Susur received her PhD. Degrees in Industrial Management from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. Her research interests are centred on transitions, experimentation, and business models for sustainability, circular economy, and digitalization. She explores and works with different theoretical and methodological perspectives in the pursuit of understanding and explaining complex phenomena.
Besides her academic experience, she undertook a variety of international projects in multi-national teams before starting her academic career. She worked as a qualified consultant and engineer on European Union environmental approximation studies and sustainable management for more than 6 years. She accumulated professional experience in project management, business development, environmental legislation, capacity and institutional building. Most of these studies were executed within international consortiums under the supervision and management of international agencies such as the European Union and World Bank.
